BMM18

v
MINISTER FOR HOME AFFAIRS & ANOR

[2020] HCASL 214
B39/2020

  1. The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from a decision of the Federal Court of Australia (Greenwood J) dismissing an appeal from a decision of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (Judge Egan) dismissing an application for judicial review of a decision of the second respondent to affirm a decision of the first respondent's delegate not to grant the applicant a Protection visa.

  2. The applicant identifies no reason to doubt the correctness of Greenwood J's decision.  An appeal to this Court would enjoy no prospect of success.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application with costs.
