An Act to sanction the construction of works of "water supply for the Municipality of Blackheath. [Assented to, 21st December, 1923.]

1 . This Act max he cited as the "Blackheath Water Supply Act, 1923.'''
2 .
2 . The carrying out of the works described in the Schedule to this Act is hereby sanctioned, and the Secretary for Public Works is empowered to carry out the said works,
3. The cost of carrying out the said works, exclusive of land resumptions, is estimated at forty-live thousand three hundred pounds, and such estimated cost shall not, under any circumstances, be exceeded by more than ten per centum.
4 . The plan of the works is the plan marked "Blackheath Water Supply," signed by the Secretary for Public Works, and countersigned by the Chief Engineer for Water Supply and Sewerage, and deposited in the public office of the said Secretary.
S C H E D U L E .
T H E scheme comprises :—•
(1) A pumping s ta t ion adjacent to Adams Creek Reservoir with
pumping machinery connected with that reservoir.
(2) A l ising main to Blackheath.
(•'!) A service reservoir a t Blackhea th .
(4) Service mains and reticulation.
(5) A rising main to connect with Mccllow W a t e r Supply.(G) Electr ic transmission lines, including crossings over public
and pr iva te roads.
(7) Telephone and electric indicator lines.
(8) W o r k s connected therewith ,
