1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Variation Regulations 2003.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on 1 July 2003.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

Schedule—delete the Schedule and substitute:

Application to register change of adult's or child's name (s 24 or 25 of Act)

    (a)    inclusive of issue of standard certificate on completion of search
