Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 March 2009. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Regulation 2003. 4 Amendment of s 22 (Historical information—Act, sch 2) (1) Section 22(b), ‘80’— omit, insert — ‘75’. (2) Section 22(c), ‘50’— omit, insert — ‘30’. 5 Insertion of new pt 7 After section 23— insert — ‘Part 7 Transitional provision for Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 ‘24 Application of s 22 ‘(1) This section applies if an application mentioned in section 22 was made, but not decided, before the commencement of the Page 2 2009 SL No. 4
