Biosecurity (Varroa Mite) Amendment Regulation 2025 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Biosecurity (Varroa Mite) Amendment Regulation 2025.

2   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Biosecurity Regulation 2016.

3   Replacement of s 4 (Declaration for particular biosecurity matter—Act, s 30)

Section 4—
omit, insert—

4   Declaration for particular biosecurity matter—Act, s 30

For section 30(1)(b) of the Act, it is declared that the following biosecurity matter mentioned in schedule 1 of the Act is no longer prohibited matter—

(a)bee louse (Braula fly) (Braula coeca);

(b)varroa mite (Varroa destructor).
