Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.   Citation

These regulations are the Biosecurity and Agriculture

3112 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 16 -July 2021

2.   Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the

Swan Valley Planning Act 2020 section 7 comes into

operation.

3. Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Biosecurity and Agriculture

Management Regulations 2013.

4.           Regulation 45 amended

In regulation 45(1) delete the definition of special rural zone and insert:

special rural zone means land zoned as a special rural

zone under —

(a) a local planning scheme as defined in the

Planning and Development Act 2005

section 4(1); or

(b) the Swan Valley Planning Scheme in force under the Swan Valley Planning Act 2020.
