Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Bills of Sale (Fees) Variation Regulations 2006.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on 1 July 2006.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

Part 2—Variation of Bills of Sale (Fees) Regulations 1995

4—Substitution of Schedule

Schedule—delete the Schedule and substitute:

Schedule—Fees

1	For registering or filing—
(a)    a Bill of Sale	$54.00
(b)    the discharge, extension, transfer or renewal of a Bill of Sale	$54.00
(c)     any other document	$54.00
2	For withdrawing a Bill of Sale from registration or filing	$44.50

Note—

As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
