AN ACT to amend the Bills of Sale Act 1899-1982.

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Bills of Sale atirIat,IL.

(2) In this Act the Bills of Sale Act 1899-1982 is ase apptoevde

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may

be cited as the Bills of Sale Act 1899-1983.

Section 5	3.	Section 5 of the principal Act is amended by

Section 17D

Section 17D of the principal Act is amended in subsection (2) by deleting "fee set out in the Thirteenth Schedule to this Act" and substituting the following-

Section 17G

Section 17G of the principal Act is amended in subsection (1) by deleting "fee set out in the Thirteenth Schedule to this Act" and substituting the following

Section 18

by deleting "fee set out in the Thirteenth Schedule

to this Act" and substituting the following-

" prescribed fee ".

Section 19

amended. 7. Section 19 of the principal Act is amended

(a) deleting "for the same at the rate set out in the Thirteenth Schedule to this Act" and substituting the following-

8. Section 21 of the principal Act is amended by r=2-

deleting "fee set out in the Thirteenth Schedule to

this Act" and substituting the following-

" prescribed fee ".

9. Section 35A of the principal Act is repealed. r epealed5A

10. After section 48 of the principal Act the insert d4.8A

following section is inserted-

4t 48A. The Governor may make regulations Regulations.

prescribing the fees to be paid

(a)	in respect of any applications made under this Act;
(b)	for registration or for the renewal of registration made under this Act; and
(c)	for any service, function or procedure provided or contemplated by this Act,

and providing for the payment and recovery

of such fees. ".
