Act No. 140, 1989

An Act to amend the Bicentennial Park Trust Act 1987 with respect to the term of a lease of trust lands. [Assented to 25 October 1989]

Bicentennial Park Trust (Leases) Amendment 1989

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Bicentennial Park Trust (Leases)

Amendment Act 1989.

Commencement

2. This Act commences on the date of assent

Amendment of Bicentennial Park Trust Act 1987 No. 29

3. The Bicentennial Park Trust Act 1987 is amended by inserting

after section 12 (3) the following subsection:

(3A) Subsection (3) does not apply to a lease that

(a)	grants to Cawbac Pty. Limited the same estate or interest in trust lands as it had under a lease of the same trust lands in force immediately before 1 January 1988; and
(b)	is for a term that, together with any further term available on the exercise of an option for a further lease, expires not later than 31 December 2009.
