AN ACT to amend the Betting Investment Tax

Act, 1959.

[Assented to 28th November, 1960.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Betting and citation.

Investment Tax Act Amendment Act, 1960.

(2) In this Act the Betting Investment Tax Act,

1959, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Betting Investment Tax Act, 1959-1960.

ment. 2. This Act shall come into operation on a day

to be fixed by proclamation.

Long title

The long title to the principal Act is amended by adding after the word, "Premises" being the last word therein, the passage, "and on bets made through or with the Totalisator Agency Board established under the Totalisator Agency Board Betting Act, 1960."

Section two of the principal Act is amended by adding after the word, "behalf", being the last word in the section, the passage, "and upon each bet made through or with the Totalisator Agency Board in accordance with the provisions of the Totalisator Agency Board Betting Act, 1960."
