Betting Control Amendment Regulations

(No. 2) 2013

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Betting Control Amendment
Regulations (No. 2) 2013.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Betting Control Regulations 1978.

4.             Regulation 37 amended

(1) Delete regulation 37(1)(h) and insert:

(h) the amount of the bet and the odds at which it was made or the method by which the odds will be calculated (if the odds are not known);

(2) After subregulation 37(2) insert:

(3A) For the purposes of subregulation (2)(a) if the odds are
not known at the time the bet is made, the method by
which the odds will be calculated must be recorded.

(3)	In regulation 37(1) after each of paragraphs (a) to (g), (j) and (k)
delete “and”.
