Betting Control Amendment Regulations

(No. 2) 2006

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Betting Control Amendment
Regulations (No. 2) 2006.

2.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Betting Control
Regulations 1978*.

3.             Regulation 17B amended

Regulation 17B(1)(a) is amended as follows:

(a) in subparagraph (ii) by deleting “100 000” and inserting instead —

“ $120 000 ”;

(b) in subparagraph (iii) by deleting “$100 000” and inserting instead —

“ $120 000 ”.

4.             Regulation 17C amended

Regulation 17C is amended by deleting paragraph (b) and
inserting the following paragraphs instead —

“

(b)	for all win bets that are not pooled, 14.5% of those win bets;
(ba)	for all place bets that are not pooled, 14.25% of those place bets;

”.
