(2) Regulation 72(4) is repealed and the following subregulation is
inserted instead —

“

(4) A failure to confirm the details of a telephone bet in the
manner required by the procedures established by the
Commission does not invalidate the bet.

”.

5. Regulation 75 amended
Regulation 75 is amended as follows:

(a)	at the end of paragraph (c) by deleting “; and” and inserting instead a comma;
(b)	by deleting paragraph (d).

Betting Control Amendment Regulations

(No. 2) 2004

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator in Executive
Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Betting Control
Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2004.

2.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Betting Control
Regulations 1978*.

3.             Regulation 68 amended

Regulation 68 is amended by deleting “Board” in the 3 places where is occurs and inserting instead —

“ Commission ”.

4.             Regulation 72 amended

(1) Regulation 72(1) is amended as follows:

(a)	at the end of paragraph (c) by deleting “; and” and inserting instead a comma;
(b)	by deleting paragraph (d).
