Betting Control Amendment Regulations 2016

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Betting Control Amendment
Regulations 2016.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.           Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Betting Control Regulations 1978.

4. Regulation 3 amended
In regulation 3(4):

N. HAGLEY, Clerk of the Executive Council.

(a)	delete paragraph (b) and insert:
(b) the bet is placed through a totalisator located on that racecourse (whether personally, or digitally using a mobile device and a telecommunications network); and
(b)	in paragraph (d) delete "telephone." and insert:
a traditional telephone voice transmission to the RWWA call centre.
