AN ACT to amend the Betting Control

Act, 1954-1959.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of

the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Betting	Short title
and citation.

Control Act Amendment Act (No. 2), 1960.

(2) In this Act the Betting Control Act, 1954- Vol. 14 Re printed

1959, is referred to as the principal Act.

amended. 2. Subsection (5) of section eleven of the prin- cipal Act is amended by adding after the figures, "1911" at the end of paragraph (a) the following passage, "except (in the case of a license under this Act entitling the holder to carry on the business of a bookmaker as mentioned in paragraph (a) of subsection (4) of this section) in the case of a spirit merchant's license or a gallon license which is located in areas of the State other than the South-West Land Division;".
