The AUSTRALIAN FISHERIES MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY makes the following Determination pursuant to s17(6)(aa) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 under section 27 of the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery Management Plan 2002.

Citation

1.  This Determination may be cited as the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery Total Allowable Catch Determination 2011.

Commencement

2.  This Determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

Interpretation

3.  A term used in this Determination takes the meaning given to it in the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery Management Plan 2002.

Determination of Total Allowable Catch

4.  The total allowable catches for the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery in the 2011 fishing season are:

a.   Commercial Scallop (Pecten fumatus), 2,000 tonnes (whole weight);

b.  Doughboy scallop (Chlamys (Mimachlamys) asperrimus), 100 tonnes (whole weight).
