Made by the Barristers' Board under section 6.
Citation1. These rules may be cited as the Barristers' Board Amendment Rules 1992.
Principal rules
2. In these rules the Barristers' Board Rules 1949* are referred to as the
principal rules.

Rule 21 amended
3. Rule 21 (1a) of the principal rules is amended by deleting "$100" and
substituting the following-
1 May 19921 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 1797 Rule 60 repealed and a rule substituted and transitional provision
4. (1) Rule 60 of the principal rules is repealed and the following rule issubstituted—
Annual fee
" 60. (1) Subject to subrule (2) the annual fee to be paid by each practitioner for the issue of each annual practice certificate is $300.
(2) If a practice certificate is issued before 30 June in a calendar year in
respect of a period ending on that 30 June, the fee payable is $150. "
(2) Notwithstanding subrule (1), the fee of $100 prescribed in rule 60 of the principal rules continues to apply in respect of any practice certificate issued after the commencement of these rules in respect of a period ending on 30 June 1992.
