(Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration the recommendations made to the Minister of State for Primary Industry by the Australian Wheatgrowers’ Federation under sub-section 9 (2) of the Barley Research Levy Act 1980 with respect to regulations to be made for the purposes of section 6 of that Act, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 November 1985.

2. Regulation 4 of the Barley Research Levy Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Rate of levy

“4. For the purposes of section 6 of the Act, the rate of levy on barley is 35 cents per tonne.”.
