(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration the recommendations made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by the Grains Council of Australia under subsection 9 (2) of the Barley Research Levy Act 1980 with respect to regulations to be made for the purposes of section 6 of that Act, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

1. Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on 1 November 1990.

2. Amendment

2.1 The Barley Research Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Regulation 4 (Rate of Levy)

3.1 Omit “52 cents per tonne”, substitute “75 cents per tonne”.
