(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Banks (Shareholdings) Act 1972.

Schedule

The Schedule to the Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations is amended by inserting after item 3 the following item:

"3a Macquarie Bank Limited.................. Hill Samuel and Co. BV, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in the Netherlands

Hill Samuel and Co. Limited, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom

Hill Samuel Group Plc. being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom

Hill Samuel Holdings (Australia) Pty Limited

Hill Samuel International Limited, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom

Hill Samuel Overseas Holdings Limited, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom".
