Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Banks (Shareholdings) Act 1972.

Schedule

The Schedule to the Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations is amended:

(a) by inserting each of the following in its appropriate alphabetical position in Column 3 in item 1:

“ ‘MLC Life Limited’

‘State Bank of Victoria’ ”;

(b) by omitting from Column 3 in item 1 “The Mutual Life and Citizens’ Assurance Company Limited”.
