Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Banks (Shareholdings) Act 1972.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2.   Schedule (Banks and persons specified for purposes of regulations 3 and 4)

2.1   Item 6 (column 3):

Add at the end:

 “Standard Chartered Nominees Limited, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom

 

 Standard Chartered Overseas Holdings Limited, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom

 

 Stanchart Nominees Limited, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom”.
