Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Banks (Shareholdings) Act 1972.

1.   Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on 31 July 1995.

 

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule (Banks and persons specified for purposes of regulations 3 and 4)

3.1   Omit item 1AAD, substitute:

“1AAD Bank of South Australia Limited State of South Australia Advance Bank Australia Limited”.

4.   Renumbering of the Schedule

4.1 The Schedule to the Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations as amended by regulation 3 of these Regulations is further amended as provided by this regulation.

4.2 The several items in the amended Schedule are renumbered so that they bear consecutive arabic numerals beginning with “1”.
