Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Banks (Shareholdings) Act 1972.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Schedule (Banks and persons specified for purposes of regulations 3 and 4)

2.1   After item 6, insert:

“6A Bank of Western Australia Ltd The Standard Life Assurance Company, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in Scotland The Governor and Company of the Bank of Scotland, being the corporation formed or incorporated under that name in Scotland Scottish Western Australia Holdings Pty Ltd”.
