BANKS AND BANK HOLIDAYS

(AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 25, 1924.

An Act to amend the Banks and Hank Holidays Act, 1912. [Assented to, 10th November, 1024.]

(a) by inserting in Bart 1 after the words "Easter Monday" the words "The twenty-fifth day of April (Anzac Day) " ; (b)

Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :---

1 . This Act may be cited as the "Banks and Bank

Holidays (Amendment) Act, 192-1."

2 . The Eourth Schedule to the Banks and Bank

Holidays Act, 1912, is amended—

(b)

liy omitting from Part I the words "When tlie first day of January or Christmas Day falls upon a Sunday " and by inserting in lieu thereof the words " W h e n the first day of January, or the twenty-sixth day of January, or Christmas Day, or the twenty-sixth day of December falls upon a Sunday " ;

(c)

by omitting from Part II the words " The anniversary of the birthday of the Prince of Wales."
