Bankruptcy Rules 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Rules under the Bankruptcy Act 1966.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Bankruptcy Rules are amended as set out in these Rules.

[NOTE: These Rules commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Rule 162 (Scale of costs)

2.1   Subrule 162 (2B):

Omit the subrule, substitute:

“(2B)

The costs specified in this rule and the costs specified in Schedule 3, being costs incurred on or after the commencement of this subrule, are increased by 9.01%.”.
