AN ACT to amend the Law relating to certain Public

Service and Bank Holidays.

[Assented to 21st December, 1921.)

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows :—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Bank Holidays Amend-

ment Act, 1921.

Act, 1899, is hereby amended by omitting the words "Pro- clamation Day (twenty-first day of October)" and inserting

in lieu thereof "Labour Day (1st day of May) "; and para- graph (b) of section sixty-four of the Public Service Act, 1904, is hereby amended by omitting the words "Proclama- tion of Self-Government (21st day of October)" and inserting in lieu thereof "Labour Day (1st day of May)."
