AN ACT to amend The Bank Holidays Aet, 1884.

[Assented to . 7th January, 1949.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

Short title.

This Act may be cited as The Bank Holidays Act Amendment Act, 1948, and shall be read as one with The Bank Holidays Act, 1884 (Act 48 Viet., No. 9, as amended by Acts 52 Viet., No. 3, 63 Viet., No. 40 and No. 26 of 1921), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

"Labour Day (first day of March) ".
