AN ACT to suspend the operation of " The Ballot Act,

1877."

[Assented to, 17th August, 1877.]

HEREA S it is expedient to suspend the operation of " The

Ballot Act, 1877," until the signification of Her Majesty's

pleasure thereon ; Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency The

Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with

the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as

follows :—

1 THE' said Act shall not -come into operation until Her Majesty's pleasure thereon shall have been signified by Proclamation in the Government Gazette.

In the name and on behalf of the Queen I hereby assent to

this Act.
