I, the Minister for Planning, make the following local environmental plan under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Ballina Local Environmental Plan 2012 (Amendment No 20).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to the following land in Ballina:

(a)

Lot 33, DP 872966, 1 Camden Street,

(b)

Lot 3, DP 1079380, 3 Camden Lane,

(c)

Lot 1, DP 1119099, 5 Camden Lane,

(d)

Lot 10, DP 1126929, 2 Skinner Street.

4      Maps

The maps adopted by Ballina Local Environmental Plan 2012 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the Minister on the making of this Plan.

Schedule 1 Additional permitted uses

Insert before clause 1:

1AA

Use of certain land at Ballina

(1)

This clause applies to land at Camden Street, Camden Lane and Skinner Street, Ballina being Lot 33, DP 872966, Lot 3, DP 1079380, Lot 1, DP 1119099 and Lot 10, DP 1126929 and identified as “Area E” on the Additional Permitted Uses Map.

(2)

Development for the purposes of coastal protection works is permitted

with development consent.

Schedule 1, clause 1A (1)

Insert “and identified as “Area D” on the Additional Permitted Uses Map” after

“DP 1121058”.
