Bail Amendment Regulations 2013

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Bail Regulations 2012 as a consequence of certain provisions of the Justice Legislation Amendment (Family Violence and Other Matters) Act 2012.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 33 of the Bail Act 1977.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on

17 April 2013.

4Statement of reasons for granting bail

In Form 3 of the Bail Regulations 2012[1], for "section 37 or 123" substitute "section 37, 37A, 123, 123A or 125A".
