AWARD MODERNISATION – DIVISION 2B STATE AWARDS

[1] On 23 April 2010 I issued a statement dealing with transitional arrangements which may be necessary as a result of the termination of Division 2B State awards at the end of 2010. 1 In particular the statement provided for the filing of applications by 30 June 2010.

[2] A number of requests have been received to extend the time for filing applications. In light of these requests the deadline of 30 June 2010 will be extended. It will be necessary to make provision later for a new deadline. What that deadline should be will be considered further in light of the circumstances and the views expressed by interested parties.
