Name of regulation
This regulation is the Aviation Transport Security Amendment Regulation 2012 (No. 2).

Commencement
This regulation commences on the day after it is registered.

Amendment of Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005
Schedule 1 amends the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005.
Schedule 1 Amendment
(section 3)
[1] Regulation 1.03, definition of air security officer, paragraph (a)
substitute
(a)a protective service officer, special protective service officer, member, or special member, of the Australian Federal Police who is directed by the Commissioner to carry out the duties of a position of air security officer; or
