1 Name of Instrument
This Instrument is the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated Persons and Entities and Declared Persons – Myanmar) List 2018.
3 Authority
This Instrument is made under paragraphs 6(a) and (b) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011.
Part 2—Designations of persons and entities and declarations of persons
4 Designated persons and entities and declared persons
(1) For paragraph 6(a) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, each person and entity mentioned in an item in Schedule 1 is a designated person or entity for Myanmar.
(2) For paragraph 6(b) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, each person mentioned in an item in Schedule 1 is a declared person for the Myanmar.
Part 3—Continuation of effect of designations and declarations
Purpose of this Part
This Part is made for the purposes of subregulation 9(3) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011.
Continuation of effect of designations and declarations on and after date of making of the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated and Declared Persons—Myanmar) Amendment (Continuation of Effect) Instrument 2021
(1) The designation, under paragraph 6(1)(a) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, of the persons mentioned in items 1 to 5 in Schedule 1 continues to have effect.
(2) The declaration, under paragraph 6(1)(b) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, of the persons mentioned in items 1 to 5 in Schedule 1 continues to have effect.

Details of editorial change
Schedule 1 item 1 of the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated and Declared Persons – Myanmar) Amendment Instrument 2023 instructs to omit “Designated and Declared persons” and substitute “Designated Persons and Entities and Declared persons” in section 1.
The text “Designated and Declared persons” does not appear in section 1. However, “Designated and Declared Persons” does appear.
This compilation was editorially changed to omit “Designated and Declared Persons” and substitute “Designated Persons and Entities and Declared Persons” in section 1 to give effect to the misdescribed amendment as intended, to correct the capitalisation and to change the typeface to bring it into line with legislative drafting practice.

Schedule 1 item 5 of the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated and Declared Persons – Myanmar) Amendment Instrument 2023 provides as follows:
5 Subsection 4(1)
Repeal the subsection, substitute: “For paragraph 6(a) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, each person and entity mentioned in an item in Schedule 1 is a designated person or entity for Myanmar.”
The substituted subsection does not contain the subsection number “(1)” and also refers to the “Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011”. The Regulation title should be italicised.
This compilation was editorially changed to show the effect of an amendment of the instrument by inserting “(1)” at the beginning of the subsection, and to italicise the Regulation title to bring it into line with legislative drafting practice.
