Automotive Industry Authority Regulations
I, The Governor-General of the
Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive
Council, make the following Regulations under the Automotive Industry
Authority Act 1984.

Citation
1. These Regulations may be cited as the
Automotive Industry Authority Regulations.
Commencement
2. These Regulations commence on 1 January 1993.
Interpretation
3.In these Regulations, unless the contrary
intention appears:
“the Act” means the Automotive Industry Authority Act
1984.
Allowances payable to a full-time member
4. For the purposes of paragraph
16 (1) (b) of the Act, the allowances payable to a full-time member
of the Authority are the same as the allowances that are payable to an officer
of the Senior Executive Service in the Australian Public Service.
Repeal
5. Statutory Rules 1984 No. 301 and 1988
No. 362 are repealed.
