Australian Wool Research and Promotion Organisation Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and having taken into consideration the recommendation with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of subsection 79 (3) of the Australian Wool Research and Promotion Organisation Act 1993 made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation, make the following Regulations under that Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Australian Wool Research and Promotion Organisation Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   New regulation 5

3.1   Add at the end:

Contribution to costs of exotic animal disease control

“5.

For the purposes of subsection 79 (3) of the Act, the amount of contribution for the financial year beginning on 1 July 1994 and ending on 30 June 1995 is $151,770.”.
