REGULATIONS UNDER THE WOOL USE PROMOTION ACT 1945.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Wool Use Promotion Act 1945.

Amendment of the Australian Wool Board Regulations.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall be deemed to have taken effect from the seventh day of October, 1948.

The Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Australian Wool Board Regulations is repealed and the following Schedule inserted in its stead:—

(i) An allowance at the rate of Twenty-four pounds per annum shall be paid to an officer under 21 years of age subject to the passing of such tests as the Minister approves

(ii) Advancement beyond Two hundred and forty-six pounds per annum shall be subject to the passing of such tests as the Minister approves

(iii) A minimum adult salary of Two hundred and thirty-four pounds per annum shall be paid subject to the passing of the tests referred to in paragraph (ii) above with advancement to Two hundred and fifty-eight pounds per annum twelve months thereafter
