Australian Trade Commission Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Australian Trade Commission Act 1985.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Australian Trade Commission Regulations.

Maximum contingent liability—Division 2 of Part V of the Act

2. Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (1) “$2,500,000,000” and substituting “$3,000,000,000”.

Maximum contingent liability—Division 3 of Part V of the Act

3. Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (1) “$500,000,000” and substituting “$750,000,000”.

Prescribed amount—subsection 88 (2) of the Act

4. Regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (1) ‘$1,000,000,000” and substituting “$1,900,000,000”.
