1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Australian Sports Drug Agency Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 2).

2Commencement

These Regulations commence on the date of their notification in the Gazette.

3Amendment of Australian Sports Drug Agency Regulations 1999

Schedule 1 amends the Australian Sports Drug Agency Regulations 1999.

insert in Part 5

86ADisclosing information to sporting administration bodies about various matters related to use of scheduled drugs and doping methods etc

  1. (1)

    For subsection 67BA (2) of the Act, the following sporting administration bodies are specified:

    1. (a)

      for information that relates to a drug or doping method included in a schedule to Australian Sports Drug Agency Drug Testing (Scheme A) Orders 1999 — a specified sporting administration body within the meaning of those Orders;

    2. (b)

      for information that relates to a drug or doping method included in a schedule to Australian Sports Drug Agency Drug Testing (Scheme B) Orders 2000 — a specified sporting administration body within the meaning of those Orders.

1. These Regulations amend Statutory Rules 1999 No. 159, as amended by 2000 Nos. 87 and 253; 2004 No. 226.
