1        Name of legislative instrument

This is the ASIC Corporations (Amendment) Instrument 2017/359.

2        Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

This instrument is made under paragraphs 283GA(1)(a), 601QA(1)(a), 741(1)(a), 926A(2)(a), 992B(1)(a) and 1020F(1)(a) of the Corporations Act 2001.

4        Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned.

Schedule 1—Amendments

1        Subsection 8(3)

(1)     Omit “Between 1 March 2017 and 31 December 2017, the old class order continues to apply”, substitute “Until 31 December 2017, the old class order applies”.

(2)     Omit “paragraph (2)(b)”, substitute “paragraphs 2(a) and (b)”.

2        Subparagraph 8(4)

Omit “continues to apply”, substitute “applies”.
