Operation of certain instruments

This instrument has effect under s283GA(1)(a), 341(1) and 601QA(1)(a) and (b), 741(1)(a), 911A(2)(l), 926A(2)(a), 951B(1)(a) and (c), 992B(1)(a) and 1020F(1)(a) and (c) of the Corporations Act 2001.

This compilation was prepared on 16 September 2015 taking into account amendments up to ASIC Redundant Class Orders (Amendment and Repeal) Instrument 2015/826 that commenced on 15 September 2015. See the table at the end of this class order.

Enabling legislation

1.    The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC ) makes this instrument under paragraph 283GA(1)(a), subsection 341(1) and paragraphs 601QA(1)(a) and (b), 741(1)(a), 911A(2)(l), 926A(2)(a), 951B(1)(a) and (c), 992B(1)(a) and 1020F(1)(a) and (c) of the Corporations Act 2001.

Title

2.    This instrument is ASIC Class Order [CO 05/1270].

Commencement

3.    This instrument is taken to commence on 1 January 2005.

Exemptions, Declarations, Variations and Revocations

4.    For the avoidance of doubt ASIC grants the exemptions, makes the declarations and effects the variations and revocations set out in each eligible instrument on the terms, and subject to any conditions, set out in the eligible instrument.

5.    Paragraph 4 has effect to the extent (if any) that the eligible instrument does not have effect in accordance with its terms.

Interpretation

6.    In this instrument:

eligible instrument means each of the following:

(a)   ASIC Class Order [CO 04/1526];

(f)   ASIC Class Order [CO 04/1574];

(i) ASIC Class Order [CO 04/1624].
