REGULATIONS UNDER THE PAPUA AND NEW GUINEA ACT 1949-1971*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Papua and New Guinea Act 1949-1971.

Amendments of the Australian School of Pacific Administration Regulations 

Constitution of the Council.

1. Regulation 5 of the Australian School of Pacific Administration Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting paragraphs (ba) and (c) of sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in their stead the following paragraphs:—

“(ba) the Chairman of the Public Service Board established by the Public Service Board Ordinance 1968 of the Territory;

(bb) the Secretary to the Department of the Interior;

(c) a person nominated by the Secretary to the Department of Education and Science;” ; and

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the word “paragraphs (d)” and inserting in its stead the word “paragraphs (c), (d)”.

Quorum, voting, &c.

2. Regulation 8 of the Australian School of Pacific Administration Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the word “four” and inserting in its stead the word “five”.
