| Arrangement for conduct of election. |
[1] On 14 January 2015, the Australian Salaried Medical Officers Federation (ASMOF)
lodged with the Fair Work Commission the prescribed information in relation to an election
for offices within ASMOF.
[2] On 5 February 2015, ASMOF provided further prescribed information regarding the
levels of membership within each branch of the organisation.
[3] In a separate piece of prescribed information lodged on 4 February 2015, the South
Australia Branch of ASMOF advised that an election was required for several offices within
that branch. Given that the prescribed information lodged previously on 14 January 2015
already provided that an election was required for those offices, I have determined not to issue
a separate decision regarding the arrangement for the conduct of an election within the South
Australia Branch of ASMOF for those offices.
[4] The prescribed information lodged on 14 January 2015 provides that an election is
required for the following offices:

with section 189(2) of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009 (the Act).
Contained within the prescribed information lodged on 14 January 2015 is a request for an
extension of time for lodgement, which I allow, in accordance with section 189(2) of the Act.
[6] I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under
the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered
Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the
Australian Electoral Commission.
