Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 13 October 2015 the Australian Salaried Medical Officers Federation (the

organisation) lodged with the Fair Work Commission (the Commission) prescribed

information in relation to an election due to insufficient nominations in a previous election

(E2015/55).

[2]        On 21 October and 4 November 2015 the Commission contacted the organisation to

reconcile the number of offices unfilled in the previous scheduled election and the number of

offices requested in the prescribed information for the current election.

[3]        On 27 October and 17 November 2015, the organisation lodged amended and further

prescribed information. The election is for the following offices of the ACT, Victoria, South

Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory, NSW, Queensland and Tasmania Branches:

[4]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
