STATUTORY RULES.

1926. No. 37.

 

REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1918.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1918 to come into operation forthwith.

Australian Rifle Club Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1921, No. 154, as amended to this date.)

Amendments.

A. Regulation 43 is amended as follows:—

(i) Before the word “For” in fourth line insert “(a)”;

(ii) Delete “76” in fifth line and substitute “176”;

(iii) Add new sub-paragraph—

“(b) For each active member on first enrolment in a rifle club—100 rounds.”

B. Regulation 45 is amended by deleting the figure “100” in the second line; the amount “£3 15s. 0d.” in the third line, and substituting “200” and “£2 10s. 0d.” respectively.

C. Regulation 66 is amended by deleting the words:—

“As soon after that date as practicable, but not later than the 30th September”

and substituting therefor the words “not later than the 15th July”.
