An Act to amend the Australian Research Council Act 2001, and for related purposes

The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1Short title

This Act may be cited as the Australian Research Council Amendment Act (No. 1) 2011.

2Commencement

This Act commences on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent.

3Schedule(s)

Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

Australian Research Council Act 2001

At the end of subsection 48(2)

Add:

1. ; (j)

   the financial year starting on 1 July 2013.

Paragraphs 49(k), (l) and (m)

Repeal the paragraphs, substitute:

1. (k)

   for the financial year starting on 1 July 2010—$708,732,000; and

2. (l)

   for the financial year starting on 1 July 2011—$783,507,000; and

3. (m)

   for the financial year starting on 1 July 2012—$817,886,000; and

4. (n)

   for the financial year starting on 1 July 2013—$795,613,000.
