Section 61

Approval of variation to ARCLinkage International Funding Rules for funding commencing in 2008.

I, JULIE BISHOP, Minister for Education, Science and Training, having satisfied myself of the matters set out in section 59 of the Australian Research Council Act 2001 (the Act), approve in accordance with section 61 of the Act the variation to the ARC Linkage International Funding Rules for funding commencing in 2008 as follows:

1. i.

   in subsection 1.1.3 delete the text ‘December 2006’ and replace with ‘February 2007’; and

2. ii.

   in subsection 13.1.10 delete the current weighting of 20% against selection criterion c. and replace it with a weighting of 30%.

I, PETER HØJ, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Research Council, having satisfied myself of the matters set out in section 59 of the Australian Research Council Act 2001 (the Act), vary in accordance with section 61 of the Actthe ARC Linkage International Funding Rules for funding commencing in 2008 as follows:

1. i.

   in subsection 1.1.3 delete the text ‘December 2006’ and replace with ‘February 2007’; and

ii.
