These Regulations are the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 1).

2Commencement

These Regulations commence on gazettal.

3Amendment of Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Regulations 1999

Schedule 1 amends the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Regulations 1999.

3 The maximum exposure levels mentioned in Radiation Protection Standard — Maximum Exposure Levels to Radiofrequency Fields— 3 kHz to 300 GHz, adopted by the CEO of ARPANSA on 7 May 2002, as in force when Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 1) commence.
