1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 1).

These Regulations commence on gazettal.

Schedule 1 amends the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Regulations 1999.

The maximum exposure levels mentioned in Radiation Protection Standard — Maximum Exposure Levels to Radiofrequency Fields— 3 kHz to 300 GHz, adopted by the CEO of ARPANSA on 7 May 2002, as in force when Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 1) commence.
