Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 17 March 2015 the New South Wales Branch (the Branch) of the Australian

Nursing and Midwifery Federation (the organisation) lodged with the Fair Work Commission

(the Commission) the prescribed information in relation to a casual vacancy election, for the

remainder of the term, for the following office:

Branch Councillor (1)

[2]        On 19 March 2015 the Commission contacted the Branch of the organisation to

request a copy of a form of documentation to evidence the reason for the occurrence of the

casual vacancy.

[3]        On 20 March 2015 the Branch of the organisation lodged the requested

documentation, which evidenced the cessation of membership of the former office holder.

[4]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed office is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
