Australian National Maritime Museum

Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Australian National Maritime Museum Act 1990.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Australian National Maritime Museum Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2.   Regulation 7 (Motor vehicles, water craft etc)

2.1   After subregulation (1), insert:

 “(1A) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, contravene a direction under subregulation (1).

 Penalty: $100.”

2.2   Subregulation (3):

Omit “(1) or”.

3.   Regulation 15 (Publishing, copying, selling etc. of Museum material)

3.1   Subregulation (1):

After “subregulation (2)”, insert “, knowingly”.
